Founded by Richard C. Mangiamele, a second generation Audioprosthologist, Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences, MaxEar Hearing Centers provides a unique level of hearing service. I was born and raised in sunny Southern California, where I obtained an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing, and have worked as a Licensed Vocational Nurse for 25+ years. I met and married my husband while he was stationed in San Diego in the Navy. He always told me he intended to bring me back to the "motherland"... so, here we are in beautiful Bastrop County! While in California, I spent 5 years working for a well-established hearing instrument specialist. Hopefully, my experience will be beneficial while I take on the challenge of assisting Richard in establishing his new  practice.

Though born in Texas, I enjoyed seeing the world as an Air Force dependent.  In my Senior year in High School my family settled in Austin.  While working on my B.A. in History at the University of Texas I met my husband who was stationed at Bergstrom AFB.  After more traveling we returned home to Austin.  Meeting and helping others has been a joy throughout my life.  I hope to continue to serve and benefit others through my work here at MaxEar.
